Swippo is an innovative and ergonomic saddle stool developed and handcrafted by the Hamburg-based Nitzbon Aktiengesellschaft, a family business that has been in operation for over 45 years. The company Nitzbon is known for its high-quality therapy and ergonomic furniture and equipment.
Product Description of the Swippo Saddle Stool:
The Swippo is designed to promote dynamically upright and healthy sitting. Its unique design automatically brings the user into an orthopedically corrected sitting posture, allowing for a physiological body posture even without a backrest. This constantly activates and strengthens the back and abdominal muscles, making sitting a form of exercise and preventing back problems and tension. The Association of Back School Teachers (IGR e.V.) and orthopedists explicitly recommend the Swippo.
Key Features:
- Ergonomic Design: The saddle-like seat shape promotes an upright sitting posture and reduces disc pressure on the lower spine. It encourages greater mobility while sitting and rolling.
- Dynamic Sitting: The chair forces the body to move and be active, promoting circulation, activating core muscles, and preventing tension and fatigue.

- Height Adjustment: Continuously adjustable, typically in a range of about 54 cm to 88 cm (depending on the model).
