Carpet castors (soft floor castors)
- The opposite of hard floor casters, soft floor casters are suitable for particularly soft floors, such as carpet or PVC. On a hard floor such as laminate, however, they leave marks and are clearly audible. They also roll too fast there, so that every movement ensures that the chair moves a little immediately.
Hard floor casters
- Hard floor casters are used whenever the floor has a firm texture. Most apartments today have high-quality laminate flooring, and that's exactly what the hard floor casters require. These are whisper-quiet on the hard surface and correspondingly gentle so as not to leave any damage to the laminate.
