The Löffler+ seat is made of viscoelastic memory foam and supports people with pain-sensitive seat bones.

The material's ability to adapt perfectly to the contours of the body over the long term provides particularly strong relief for pressure-sensitive areas (e.g. the underside of the thigh).

The material was developed for use in the aerospace industry and is highly efficient. The point-by-point relief of pressure provided by the viscoelastic seat foam makes sitting more comfortable.

The idea of dynamic sitting is incorporated in ERGO TOP®.
The patented technology ensures that the horizontal and vertical center of the body is constantly balanced, activating the muscles while sitting.
With the Löffler chairs and stools, ERGO TOP® enables an active, upright sitting posture with its 360° movable seat surface, in addition to the more passive-supporting synchronous mechanism.
ERGO TOP® was developed in close collaboration with the Institute of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich and was first used in the mobile seating series ERGO & Friends.
This was followed by the integration of ERGO TOP® technology into all Löffler swivel chairs, which is now the main area of application for ERGO TOP®.
