The design of the L-1 task light is slim and elegant, as well as versatile and flexible.
The L-1 is a lamp that lacks for nothing, making it a good choice for any occasion.
A great design always seems self-explanatory when the user sees it for the first time.
It's as if there is some kind of truth hidden in the design just waiting to be seen.
One example of this is the L-1's hinge construction, which resembles the human upper and forearm and ensures the desired functionality of the task light.
The L-1 is a prime example of how a light can be brought to life with a few screws, nuts and springs as "muscles".
With more than 25 million task lights sold worldwide, the L-1 has been part of more brilliant ideas than any other desk lamp in the world.
It is used by creatives, students, engineers and in the home alike, and has been lighting original thoughts and ideas for over 80 years.
Technical description
Housing material and color
Parallel, spring-balanced triple swivel arm made of steel and lampshade made of aluminum. The arm length is 100cm.
Upward and downward movement is possible, as is a rotating head movement.
Note! The above-mentioned head tilt creates more flexibility, but may also cause unwanted glare.
L-1 is available in:
- black (RAL 9004)
- white (RAL 9003)
- aluminum gray (RAL9006).
Optics
Symmetrical light distribution. The inside of the lampshade is white for maximum efficiency.
The L-1 LED has an opal diffuser for a softer light and to avoid glare.
