The idea of active sitting is behind ERGO TOP®.
The patented technology ensures that the horizontal and vertical center of the body is constantly balanced, activating the muscles while sitting.
With the Löffler chairs and stools, ERGO TOP® enables an active, upright sitting posture with its 360° movable seat surface, in addition to the more passive-supporting synchronous mechanism.
ERGO TOP® was developed in close collaboration with the Institute of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich and was first used in the mobile seating series ERGO & Friends.
This was followed by the integration of the ERGO TOP® technology into all Löffler swivel chairs, which is now the main area of application for ERGO TOP®.
